FDT 41: Acorn Creek

From 1-70 take exit #205, travel north on HWY 9. Travel 11 miles on HWY 9, turn right onto County Road #2400, oust after the Bridge). Follow County Road #2400 approx 0.4 of a mile, to a fork in the road. Turn right onto FDR road #2402 (Rodeo Dr) and follow this road approx 0.6 of a mile to the trailhead parking on the left.

FDT 77: Argentine Pass

From 1-70 take Exit #205, and travel east on HWY 6 toward Keystone. Just past Keystone, turn right onto Montezuma Road (County Road 5). Follow Montezuma Road for approx 4.6 miles to the junction with Peru Creek Road (FDR 260). Turn left into parking lot. Beyond this point the trailhead is 4.5 miles to gate at the Shoe Basin Mine on a 4WD road, then 0.4 of mile past the gate on the right.

FDT 40: Bakers Tank

From 1-70 take Exit #203 and travel south on HWY 9 through Frisco toward Breckenridge. At the southern town limits of Breckenridge turn left on Boreas Pass Road (County Road 10). Follow Boreas Pass Road approx 3.5 miles to the Bakers Tank Trailhead parking lot. You may also continue to Bakers Tank by following Boreas Pass Road approx 2.7 miles.

: Bemrose Ski Circus

From 1-70 take Exit #203, and travel south on HWY 9 through Frisco to Breckenridge. From the southern town limits of Breckenridge drive south 11 miles on HWY 9 to the summit of Hoosier Pass. Park on the right of the pass in a large parking lot. The trailhead is across HWY 9 on the east side of the road.

CR 10: Boreas Pass Road

From 1-70 take Exit #203 and travel south on HWY 9 through Frisco toward Breckenridge. At the southern town limits of Breckenridge turn left on Boreas Pass Road (County Road 10). Follow Boreas Pass Road approx 3.5 miles to the Bakers Tank Trail head parking. The road beyond this parking lot is dirt and it is 10.7 miles to Como.

FDT 59: Boulder Lakes- Lower/Upper

From 1-70 take Exit #205, and travel north on HWY 9 for approx 7.7 miles. Turn left onto Rock Creek Road (FDR 1350) across from the Blue River Campground. Follow the gravel road for approx 1.3 miles and turn left at the road marked "Rock Creek". Winter trail head is immediately on your left. Summer access is a 4WD road 1.7 miles from this point to trailhead.

FDR 1695: Brush Creek

From 1-70, Exit # 205 and travel north on HWY 9 for approx 16.8 miles. Just after mile marker 118 turn left onto Heeney Rd (County Road 30) for approx 0.5 miles. The entrance to the Brush Creek Road is on the left. Brush Creek Road is a 4WD road. Parking is available across the road in the Grandview Cemetary parking lot.

FDT 31: Buffalo Mountain

From 1-70 take Exit #205 and travel north on HWY 9 and turn left at the first traffic light Rainbow Drive/ Wildernest Road (7-11 intersection). Travel 3.6 miles on Wildernest Rd (turns into Ryan Gulch Road). You will travel all the way up the hill past many condos and there will be a parking lot on left. Buffalo Mtn is accessed by the Buffalo Cabin Trailhead across the road.

FDT 80: Burro

Access 1 - Spruce Creek: From 1-70 take Exit #203 and travel south on HWY 9 through Frisco to Breckenridge. Continue south on HWY 9 past Breckenridge for 2.3 miles and turn right onto Spruce Creek Rd (County Rd 800). Look for the blue diamonds that are on the trees once you get into "The Crown" subdivision. Use these to guide you to the trailhead through some questionable intersections with newer roads. Take left turns at the forks for approx 1 mile to the Spruce Creek Trailhead parking lot. To access the Burro Trail continue along Spruce Creek Rd for a short distance and turn right onto Crystal Creek Rd. Trail intersects road in 1/4 mile. (Beyond Spruce Creek Trailhead the road is 4WD.) Access 2 - Breckenridge Peak 9: From 1-70, take exit 203 and travel south on HWY 9 through Frisco to Breckenridge. Turn right on Park Ave then turn left on Village Road. Follow this to the first Beaver Run Parking lot on your left The lower access to the trail is via Beaver Run at the base of Peak 9 paid parking lot. The trail is about 100 yards across the Lehman ski run (on the south side).

FDT 60: Cataract Lakes Lower/Upper

From 1-70 take Exit #205 and travel north on HWY 9, 16 miles. After mile marker 118 turn left onto Heeney Road (CR 30). Follow Heeney Rd for 5.3 miles and turn left onto Cataract Creek Road (FDR 1725). Continue for 2 miles and park at the Surprise Trailhead (FDT 62) on your left.

FDT 78: Chihuahua Lake

From 1-70 take Exit #205 and travel east on HWY 6 toward Keystone. Just past Keystone turn right onto Montezuma Road (County Road 5). Follow Montezuma Road for approx 4.6 miles to the intersection with Peru Creek Road (FDR 260). Follow Peru Creek Road for approx 2.1 miles to intersection with the old Chihuahua Gulch OHV road. Park along Peru Creek Road and hike up the old road.

FDT 44: Crystal Lakes

From 1-70 take exit #203, exit and travel south on HWY 9 through Breckenridge. Continue for 2.3 miles, past Breckenridge and turn right at "The Crown" subdivision (County Road #800 - Spruce Creek Rd). Take the first right, then follow the main road taking left turns at the forks. The road to Crystal Lake is on the right approx 1.8 miles from HWY 9 - Crystal Lakes (FDR Road #803). Beyond this point the road turns into a 4WD road.

: Deer Creek Rd

From 1-70 take Exit #205, follow HWY 6 east toward Keystone. At the eastern end of Keystone take a right onto Montezuma Road (County Road #5). Continue to drive through the town of Montezuma to the end of the developed road (parking lot). Beyond this point the road is 4WD.

FDT 61: Eaglesmere Lskes

From 1-70 take Exit #205 and travel north on HWY 9 for 16 miles. After mile marker 118 turn left onto Heeney Road (CR 30). Follow Heeney Rd for 5.3 miles and turn left onto Cataract Creek Road (FDR 1725). Continue for 2 miles to a junction, turn right onto FDR 1726 and follow road to the Eaglesmere Trailhead and parking area.

FDT 1889: Elliot Ridge

From 1-70 take Exit #205 and travel north on HWY 9 for approx 27 miles into Grand County. Turn left onto Spring Creek Road/Grand County Road 10. Follow Spring Creek Road (GCR 10) for 6.8 mile and bear left at FDR 1830 (Doenz Place). After this intersection, the road becomes FDR 23. Continue on FDR 23 for approx 1.1 miles until the fork in the road. Take the right fork, FDR23/1831 and travel approx 5.3 miles to trailhead and parking area.

FDR 2: French Gulch

From 1-70 take Exit # 203 and travel south on HWY 9 through Frisco and travel to Breckenridge. Turn left at the 7-11 store at the intesection of French Gulch Road (County Road 450) and HWY 9. After approx 0.4 miles the road forks, take the right fork into the subdivision. The road turns into County Road 2. Travel through the subdivision and then straight along the road. In approx 4 miles there is a trailhead parking area on your right. Road is 4WD after a gate at this point.

: Georgia Pass Road

From 1-70 take Exit 4203 and travel south on HWY 9 toward Breckenridge. After approx 6.7 miles turn left onto Tiger Road (County Road 6). Travel east on Tiger Road for approx 4.7 miles to the old Tiger Townsite, this is the winter parking area. Continue approx 1 mile to a junction, bear right following the signs to Georgia Pass (South Fork of the Swan). You will be passing through private property, Good Times Tours will be on your left. At the next junction, bear right following the signs to Georgia Pass (South Fork Swan).

FDT 79: Gold Hill

From 1-70 take the Exit #203 and travel south on HWY 9 through Frisco toward Breckenridge. After approx 6.1 miles turn right at FDR 950. Immediately to your right is the trailhead parking area for Gold Hill Trail. The trail begins from the parking area.

The Gore Range Trail has the following access points which are listed from north to south. The mileage listed below is the approx distance from one access point on the Gore Range Trail to the next point. (A) Eaglesmere to (B) Surprise-3.44 miles, (B) Surprise to (C) Brush Creek Road 4.39, (C) Brush Creek Road to (D) Rock Creek Road 9.21, (D) Rock Creek Road to (E) Mesa Cortina 8.04 miles, (E) Mesa Cortina to (F) Buffalo Cabin 1.48 miles, (F) Buffalo Cabin to (G) Meadow Creek 3.43, (G) Meadow Creek to (H) North Tenmile 2.6, (H) North Tenmile to (I) Wheeler Flats 7.29.

FDT 54/36B: Grays & Torrey Peaks

Access 1-Clear Creek: From Summit County travel on 1-70 east toward Denver and take Exit #221, Bakersville, and travel south on Stevens Gulch Road (FDR 189). Just past 1-70, bear left on Stevens Gulch Road where the paved road turns into a gravel road. Follow Stevens Gulch Road for approx 2.9 miles all the way to the end of the road park in parking lot. Note this is a 4WD road. Access 2-Dillon Ranger District: From 1-70 take Exit #205, and travel east on HWY 6 toward Keystone. Just past Keystone, turn right onto Montezuma Road (County Road 5). Follow Montezuma Road for approx 4.6 miles to the end of the motorized access on Peru Creek Road. Park at the abandoned Shoe Basin Mine.

FDR 276: Hunkidori Mine Road

From 1-70 take Exit #205, and travel east on HWY 6 toward Keystone. Just past Keystone, turn right onto Montezuma Road (County Road #5). Follow Montezuma Road for 7 miles to the town of Montezuma. There is a parking area in the Center of Montezuma for access to Sts. John Road. 4WD beyond this point. Intersection of Huinkidori Mine Road is .5 mile from the right fork in the road; Sts. Johns is to the left.

FDR 593: Indiana Creek Road

From 1-70 take Exit #203 and travel south on HWY 9 toward Breckenridge. Continue through Breckenridge and travel approx 1 mile past the traffic light at Boreas Pass Road. Turn left at Wagon Road from HWY 9 (if you travel past the Goose Pasture Tarn [lake] you have gone too far). Travel on Wagon Road and turn left onto Indiana Creek Road (FDR 593). When you come to the fork in the road bear to the left and continue on Indiana Creek Road. When the paved road ends, this will be the beginning of the OHV portion of Indiana Creek Road. 4WD beyond this point.

FDR 175: Keystone Gulch Road

From 1-70 take Exit #205 and travel east on HWY 6 toward Keystone. Travel approx 6.2 miles and turn right at the traffic light in Keystone. Turn left immediately onto Keystone Road and go 0.3 miles. Turn right at the first road, Soda Ridge Road, and travel 0.5 miles to Keystone Gulch Road. Turn left onto Keystone Gulch Road. Park at the gate. 4WD beyond this point.

FDT 34: Lenawee

Access 1: From 1-70 take Exit #205 and travel east toward Keystone on HWY 6. Just past Keystone, turn right onto Montezuma Road (County Rd # 5). Follow Montezuma Road for approx 4.6 miles to the intersection with Peru Creek Road (FDR 260). Follow Peru Creek Road for approx 2 miles to the Lenawee Trailhead which will be on the left side of the road. Access 2: From 1-70 take Exit #205, and travel east on HWY 6 toward Keystone. Continue east 7.5 miles past Arapahoe Basin to the CDOT Maintenance Building, the trailhead is on the right just before the building.

FDT 50: Lily Pad Lake

From 1-70 take Exit #205 and travel north on HWY 9 and turn left at the first traffic light Rainbow Drive/ Wildernest Road (7-11 intersection). Travel 3.6 miles on Wildernest Rd (turns into Ryan Gulch Road). You will travel all the way up the hill past many condos and there will be a parking lot on left. Follow road up a little further to Lily Pad Trailhead. Lily Pad Lake may also be accessed from the Meadow Creek Trailhead.

FDT 64: Lost Lake

From 1-70 take Exit #205 and travel north on HWY 9 approx 16.8 miles. Just after mile marker 118 turn left onto Heeney Rd/County Road 30 toward the town of Heeney. Follow County Road 30 for approx 0.5 miles and turn right into parking area at the old Grandview Cemetary on the right side of road. Brush Creek Road is a 4WD road (FDR 1695) across Heeney Road from the cemetary, Brush Creek Trailhead is up this road.

FDT 43 : McCullough Gulch

From 1-70 take Exit #203, travel south on HWY 9 through Breckenridge. Continue south on HWY 9 from the intersection of Boreas Pass Road for 7.4 miles. You will pass through the town of Blue River on the way toward Blue Lakes Road (FDR 850) where you will turn right. Turn right onto McCullough Gulch Road (FDR 851) approx 0.1 miles from HWY 9. At the fork in the road, approx 1.7 miles, stay to the left. Follow the McCullough Gulch Road to the gate where you will find the parking area.

FDR 1178: Mayflower Gulch

From 1-70 take Exit # 195, Copper Mountain Exit, travel south on HWY 91 toward Leadville for 5.3 miles. The Mayflower Gulch trailhead and parking area will be on the left side.

FDT 33: Meadow Creek

From 1-70 take Exit #203 to round-about. Go around the circle to the gravel road with the US Forest Service sign and the entrance and turn right. Follow this frontage road to the end where you will find the parking area and trailhead.

FDT 32/60: Mesa Cortina to South Willow Falls

From 1-70 take Exit #205 and travel north on HWY 9 and turn left at the first traiffic light Rainbow Drive/Wildernest Road (7-11 intersection). Turn left onto Wildernest Road/Ryan Gulch Rd. After crossing the Blue River, turn right onto Adams Ave and then immediately turn left onto Royal Buffalo Drive. After 0.8 miles, turn right onto Lakeview Drive and proceed to Aspen Dr. Turn left onto Aspen Drive and continue for 0.2 miles. There will be a pull through parking lot on the right-hand side of the road. The trailhead is located just north of the parking lot.

FDR 6: Middle Fork Road (from Swan River)

From 1-70 take Exit # 203, and travel south on HWY 9 toward Breckenridge. After approx 6.7 miles, turn left onto Tiger Road (County Road 6). Travel east on Tiger Road for approx 4.7 miles to the old Tiger Townsite, this is the winter parking area. Continue approx 1 mile to a junction, bear right following the signs to Middle Fork. You will be passing through private property, Good Times Tours will be on your left. At the next function continue straight on the Middle Fork Rd.

FDR 1000: Miners Creek

From 1-70 take Exit #203 and travel south on HWY 9 toward Breckenridge. Follow HWY 9 to the light at Peak One Blvd (CR1004). Turn right and then turn right again onto the dirt road just before the bus stop. Turn immediately left. Continue on this road for another 0.3 mile to the parking area at the gate. During the summer this gate is open and you can continue up the road and across the bike path.

FDT 58: Mohawk Lakes via Spruce Creek

From 1-70 take Exit #203, exit and travel south on HWY 9 through Breckenridge. Continue for 2.3 miles, past Breckenridge and turn right at "The Crown" subdivision (County Road #800 - Spruce Creek Rd). Proceed uphill on a good quality dirt road for approx 0.1 miles and then bear left on main road through the intersection. After approx 1.1 miles you will arrive at the Spruce Creek Trailhead.

CR 528: Mount Baldy

From 1-70 take Exit # 203, and travel south on HWY 9 through Frisco and Breckenridge. At the southern town limits of Breckenridge turn left on Boreas Pass Road (County Road 10). Follow Boreas Pass Road approx 2.0 miles. Turn left onto Baldy Road (County Road 528) and travel 1.4 miles to what looks like a hairpin turn/intersection with County Road 536 - park here.

FDT 1889: Mount Royal / Masontown

From 1-70 take Exit # 201, and travel east on Main St, Frisco. Turn right into the large parking lot about 100 ft from I -70. Park in this lot. Walk over the foot bridge and travel 0.5 milesto trailhead.

From 1-70 take Exit # 201, and turn away from Frisco (west) and park in the area just north of the interstate interchange.

FDR 354: North Fork Road (Swan River)

From 1-70 take Exit # 203 and travel south on HWY 9 toward Breckenridge. After approx 6.7 miles turn left onto Tiger Road (County Road 6). Travel east on Tiger Road for approx 4.7 miles to the old Tiger Townsite, this is the winter parking area. Continue approx 1 mile to a junction, bear left onto the North Fork Rd (FDR 354).

FDT 87: Old Dillon Reservoir

From 1-70 take Exit 203 and travel south on HWY 9 to the first traffic light at the Dillon Dam Road and turn left. Travel east on the Dillon Dam Road for approx 1.4 miles. On the left side of the road, just past the entrance to the Heaton Bay Campground, you will see the trailhead sign. Turn left and park.

FDT 65: Oro Grande

Access 1: From 1-70 take Exit #205 and travel east on HWY 6 toward Dillon and Keystone. Approx 1.2 miles south of 1-70 turn left at the traffic light at the intersection of HWY 6 and Evergreen Road ( Lord of the Mountains Church is on your left). After turning left, immediately turn right onto Straight Creek Road (County Road 51) and follow this road for approx 0.6 miles to just past the Forest Service compound and Dillon Water Tank. Right after the road turns to gravel, there is a pull out parking area on the right. Access 2: From 1-70 take Exit # 205 and travel east on HWY 6 toward Dillon and Keystone. Approx 5.4 miles south of 1-70 turn left at the Summit County Landfill and Frey Gulch Road (FDR 66). Just past the Landfill, the road becomes 4WD at the Forest Service Gate.

FDT 45: Peaks

Access 1: Breckenridge: From 1-70 take Exit # 203, and travel south on HWY 9 to Breckenridge for 10 miles. Turn right on Ski Hill Road at the traffic light. Go to the top of Ski Hill Road, towards the Breckenridge Ski Area, Peak 8. Continue past the Peak 8 parking area for 0.6 miles. The trailhead parking area will be on the left side of the road, up a small embankment. Access 2: Frisco: From 1-70 take Exit #201, turn east toward Frisco. Travel approx 0.6 miles to 2nd Avenue and turn right. Follow 2nd Ave to the end of the street and park in the spaces provided. Cross over the paved bike path to the trailhead.

FDR 611: Pennsylvania Creek Road

From 1-70 take Exit #203 and travel south on HWY 9 toward Breckenridge. Travel through Breckenridge approx 3.4 miles past Boreas Pass Road traffic light, turn left at Blue River Road and continue straight to where the road forks at Royal Drive and Regal Circle. Bear to the right on Royal Drive and follow the road to Coronet Drive, which will be on the right. Travel on Coronet Drive and when the paved road ends, this will be the beginning of the 4WD Road.

FDT 35: Ptarmigan

From 1-70 Exit #205 and travel north on HWY 9 for approx 0.2 mile to the intersection of Wildernest Drive/Rainbow Drive, (Wendy's is on the corner). Turn right onto Rainbow Drive and then right onto Tanglewood Lane. Follow Tanglewood Lane to the Ptarmigan Trail Rd and turn right. Follow this road for approx 0.8 miles to the trailhead parking, which is on the right side of the road. The trail starts across the road from the parking area.

FDT 47: Quandary Peak

From 1-70 take Exit #203, travel south on HWY 9 through Breckenridge. Continue south on HWY 9 from the intersection of Boreas Pass Road for 7.4 miles. You will pass through the town of Blue River on the way toward Blue Lakes Road (FDR 850) where you will turn right. Turn right onto McCullough Gulch Road (FDR 851) approx 0.1 miles from HWY 9. Follow McCullough Gulch Road approx .23 miles to the trailhead parking.

FDT 46: Rock Creek

From 1-70 take Exit #205, and travel north on HWY 9 for approx 7.7 miles. Turn left onto Rock Creek Road (FDR 1350) across from the Blue River Campground. Follow the gravel road for approx 1.3 miles and turn left at the road marked "Rock Creek". Winter trailhead is immediately on your left. Summer access is a 4WD road 1.7 miles to trailhead.

FDR 275: Saints John Road

From 1-70 take Exit #205, and travel east on HWY 6 toward Keystone. Just past Keystone, turn right onto Montezuma Road (County Road 5). Follow Montezuma Road for 7 miles to the Town of Montezuma. Travel through Montezuma to the Saints John Road on right and parking.

FDR 559: Sally Barber Mine Road

From 1-70 take Exit 203 and travel south on HWY 9 through Frisco and travel to Breckenridge. Turn left at the 7-11 at the intersection of French Gulch Road (County Road 450) and HWY 9. After approx .5 miles the road forks, take the right fork into the subdivision. The road turns into Counyy Road 2. Travel through the subdivision and then straight along the road. Continue to the end of the maintained road, park in the parking area (3.9 miles from HWY 9).

FDT 89: Sapphire Point

From 1-70 take Exit 203 and travel south on HWY 9 toward Breckenridge. Approx 4.9 miles south of 1-70 turn left at the intersection of HWY 9 and Swan Mountain Road (CR 1). This intersection is known as Farmer's Korner. If you travel past the gas station on the right you have gone too far. Follow Swan Mountain Road up the grade for approx 1.8 miles to the parking area, which will be on your left.

: Shrine Mountain Trail and Road

From 1-70 take Exit #190, Vail Pass Rest Area, and go to the rest area on the west side of 1-70. Shrine Mountain Road begins to the right just before you pull into the rest area parking lots. The trail for Shrine Mountain begins to the west from the lower Vail Pass Rest Area parking lot.

FDT 65: Slate Lake - Lower and Upper

From 1-70 take Exit #205, and travel north on HWY 9 for approx 7.7 miles. Turn left onto Rock Creek Road (FDR 1350) across from the Blue River Campground. Follow the gravel road for approx 1.3 miles and turn left at the road marked "Rock Creek". Winter trailhead is immediately on your left. Summer access is a 4WD road 1.7 miles to trailhead.

GCR 10: Spring Creek Recreation Area

From 1-70 take Exit #205 and travel north on HWY 9 for approx 27 miles into Grand County. Turn left onto Spring Creek Road (Grand County Road 10). Follow Spring Creek Road (GCR1 0) for 6.8 miles. This is the winter parking area.

: Straight Creek

From 1-70 take # Exit 205 and travel east on HWY 6 toward Dillon and Keystone. Approx 1.2 miles south of 1-70 turn left at the traffic light at the intersection of HWY 6 and Evergreen Road (Lord of the Mountains Church is on your left). After turning left, immediately turn right onto Straight Creek Road (County Road 51) and follow this road to approx 0.6 miles to just past the Forest Service compound and Dillon Water Tank. Road becomes 4WD beyond this point.

From 1-70 take Exit# 205 and travel north on HWY 9 for 16 miles. After mile marker 118 turn left onto Heeney Road (CR 30). Follow the Heeney Rd for 5.3 miles and turn left onto Cataract Creek Road (FDR 1725). Continue for 2 miles and park at the Surprise Trailhead (FDT 62) on your left.

SCR6: Swan Valley Recreation Area

From 1-70 take Exit # 203 and travel south on HWY 9 toward Breckenridge. After approx 6.7 miles turn left onto Tiger Road (County Pond Rl Travel east on Tiger Road for approx 4.7 miles to the old Tiger Townsite Area. Includes the following trails: North Fork, Wise Mountain, Middle Fork, South Fork (Georgia Pass) and Glacier Ridge.

: Tenderfoot

From 1-70 Ext #205 and travel north on HWY 9 for approx 0.2 mile to the intersection of Wildernest Drive/Rainbow Drive, (Wendy's is on the corner). Turn right onto Rainbow Drive and then right onto Tanglewood Lane. Follow Tanglewood Lane to the Ptarmigan Trail Rd and turn right. Follow this road for approx 0.8 miles to the trailhead parking, which is on the right side of the road. The trail starts across the road from the parking area.

From 1-70 take Exit 205 and travel north on HWY 9 for 16 miles. After mile marker 118 turn left onto Heeney Road (CR 30). Follow the Heeney Rd for 5.3 miles and turn left onto Cataract Creek Road (FDR 1725). Continue for 2 miles and park at the Surprise Trailhead (FDT 62) on your left.

: Ute Peak

From 1-70 take Exit 205 and travel north on HWY 9, 12 miles and after mile marker 114, turn right onto County Road #15 (Ute Pass Road - Henderson Mine). Follow this road to the large parking area just west of the 2nd cattle guard at the top of the pass. The trailhead is southernly across a small open grassy park.

: Vail Pass Winter Recreation Area

From 1-70 take Exit #190, Vail Pass Rest Area, and go to the rest area on the west side of 1-70. Shrine Mountain Road begins to the right just before you pull into the rest area parking lots. Area accesses the following trails: Corral Creek, Shrine Pass Road, Shrine Mountain Inn/Ptarmigan, Wilder Gulch, Janet's Cabin/ Wilder, Guller Creek.

FDR 285: Webster Pass Road

From 1-70 take Exit #205, follow HWY 6 east toward Keystone. At the eastern end of Keystone take a right onto Montezuma Road (County Road #5). Travel through Montezuma to Webster Pass Road (FDR 285) on your left. This is a 4WD Road.

FDT 60: Wheeler Lakes

From westbound 1-70 take Exit #196, Scenic Overlook, and park in the spaces provided. From eastbound 1-70 travel to Exit #198, Officers Gulch and turn left at the stop sign. Travel underneath 1-70 and take the westbound on-ramp for 1-70. Travel on 1-70 west bound and take Exit 196, Scenic Overlook, and park in the spaces provided.

FDT 39: Wheeler National Recreation Trail

Access 1: From westbound 1-70 take Exit #196, Scenic Overlook, and park in the spaces provided. From eastbound 1-70 travel to Exit #198, Officer Gulch and turn left at the stop sign. Travel underneath 1-70 and take the westbound on-ramp for 1-70. Travel on 1-70 west bound and take Exit 196, Scenic Overlook, and park in the spaces provided. Access 2: From 1-70 take Exit #203 and travel south on HWY 9 through Frisco and Breckenridge to the summit of Hoosier Pass (11 miles). Park in the large parking lot on the right at the top of the pass. Area access following trails: Wheeler Junction, Miners Creek, Spruce Creek, McCullough Gulch, McCullough Gulch to Blue Lakes Road, Blue Lakes Road to Hoosier Pass.

FDT 75: Wilder Gulch

From 1-70 take Exit #190 the Vail Pass Rest Area exit, park in the rest area parking lot. Access to trail is down the bike path on the right.

FDR 200: Williams Peak Road

From 1-70 take Exit #205, and travel north on HWY 9 for 27miles (1 mile past the Green Mountain Reservior), turn right onto Williams Peak Road, County Road 200. This is a 4WD road.

FDT 36: Willow Lake / Salmon Lake

Access 1: Rock Creek: From 1-70 take Exit #205, and travel north on HWY 9 for approx 7.7 miles. Turn left onto Rock Creek Road (FDR 1350) across from the Blue River Campground. Follow the gravel road for approx 1.3 miles and turn left at the road marked "Rock Creek". Winter trailhead is immediately on your left. Summer access is a 4WD road 1.7 miles to trailhead. Access 2: Willowbrook: From 1-70 take Exit # 205 and go north on HWY 9. Turn left on Golden Eagle, follow this up the hill past the golf course to Two Cabin Dr. Turn left on Two Cabin Dr - on left will be a sign for the Eagles Nest Trail.
