Interested in Mountain Rescue or Water Rescue?

Have you ever thought about joining a Mountain Rescue team or water rescue team?  What is a a Mountain Rescue team, anyway? Do you have the background you need? Are you curious as to whether you have what it takes? Members of the Summit County Rescue Group (SCRG) and the Summit County Water Rescue Team (SCWRT) will be happy to answer those questions (and more!) during an informational open house from 6 pm to 8 pm on Thursday, September 8, 2011.

If you are interested in applying for SCRG's Fall 2011 or Spring 2012 new member training classes, this is a great opportunity to find out what you're getting yourself into.  If you are interested in SCWRT, members will be on hand to provide information about the application process.

Please join us at the SCRG and SCWRT barns in Frisco from 6 pm to 8 pm on Thursday.  Our barns are located off of County Shops Road in Frisco.  From Highway 9, turn onto Peak One Blvd (by the Senior Center).  County Shops Road is the 3rd right.  We will be on your right (look for the blinky lights).

Please RSVP to if you plan to attend or want more information about joining SCRG or SCWRT.
